Violinkids¬ģ was created to provide suitable and motivating material for young violinists. ¬†Sisters

Many violin method books feature small print, which makes it difficult for young children to read.

With the ability to teach this course in a private or group/classroom setting, Violinkids¬ģ offers a complete curriculum that covers virtually every aspect of beginning through intermediate violinists.

With emphasis on building strong note-reading and technical skills, rhythmic understanding and quality musical experiences, Violinkids¬ģ is quickly becoming the premier violin method for young children!

Violinkids¬ģ follows the same¬†principles as Pianokids¬ģ, featuring¬†fun pieces with child-friendly lyrics, familiar nursery rhymes, folksongs and minimal illustrations. As with all One Eye Publications method books, Violinkids¬ģ has spiral binding, allowing¬†books to easily sit on a¬†music stand.¬†

Violinkids¬ģ keeps the focus of each page in the series is on¬†what’s important: the music

violinmusicViolinkids¬ģ Lesson Book 1 provides beginning students a well-rounded course of study by introducing¬†the open D, A and E strings in 1st position, one at a time to build a strong note-reading foundation from the start. Additional focus is also spent on establishing strong¬†rhythmic development¬†and learning proper bowing technique. ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†

violin groupViolinkids¬ģ Lesson Book 2¬†continues to develop the young violinists musically with new and traditional music that utilizes more dynamics, expression markings and articulations.¬†

In Lesson Book 2 the remainder 1st position notes are introduced and attention is focused on reinforcing concepts, rhythms and notes learned previously in Lesson Book 1.

Violinkids¬ģ Activity Book 2¬†is structured¬†to build further confidence in music reading skills and continues to¬†solidify the relationship between written theory and playing. Children¬†will enjoy the drawing and coloring activities, while developing the fundamentals of violin theory at the same time.¬†
